Google Analytics

When someone visits www.midsco.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard Internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. How We Collect Information

The way in which we collect this data is by incoming phone calls, emails and in text messages asking us to undertake certain services that can be provided by MIDSCO Mechanical. We will never solicit work by cold calling.

Why We Collect This Information

At MIDSCO Mechanical, we always want to keep you and your appliances up to date for warranty, guarantee and safety purposes. Because of this, we keep dates of servicing and installation so that you don’t miss these important deadlines by sending notifications and reminders when alerted.

Engineers use your information to carry out the work requested by way of smart app-controlled software.

Once work has been completed, this information is used to generate invoices to the correct person, for invoices to be posted or emailed and in some cases printed and posted. This also allows us to accept and track payments.

Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.

Who We Share Data With

Whilst MIDSCO Mechanical will never share or sell your information to marketing companies or third parties, the nature of our business means that we have to send some information to manufacturers of products we sell and install to verify warranties, guaranties and successful completion of installation as well as legal obligations to inform local authorities of where efficiently rated appliances are installed, this data includes, but not restricted to, name, address, email, phone number, make and model of appliances.

Your data will be stored within the accountancy software for the purpose of processing payments and end of year tax processing.

If paying by debit or credit card over the phone, we use your name, address, email and phone number for added security as the card will be attached to this information. A third-party supplier does this. When we input your information, and it is classed as a successful transaction, we then delete the confirmation from our software, so this cannot be used again.

At MIDSCO Mechanical, our biggest assets are you, and because of this, we will ask you to help improve our service and customer commitment by leaving reviews on certain sites. This will require us to inform them of your name, phone number, email address and a brief job description.
