Nottingham College Refurbishment

MIDSCO provides ongoing specialist support to Nottingham College, delivering maintenance services across gas systems and appliances to ensure safe and efficient operation throughout their estate.

In addition to maintenance, we have successfully completed a number of capital projects for the College. A standout example includes the installation of new plumbing training bays, designed to support hands-on learning and skills development.

This project reflects MIDSCO's commitment not only to delivering high-quality engineering solutions, but also to supporting the development of the next generation of plumbing and heating engineers within the local community; an initiative we are particularly proud to have contributed to.

A Permanent Presence on Nottinghamshire Site

MIDSCO successfully delivered a complex package of works at ENVA's waste oil processing facility, encompassing the installation of new fluid transfer lines alongside significant upgrades to the site's steam plant and associated pipework infrastructure. The project was executed across multiple areas of the site, involving a variety of systems, each presenting its own technical and operational challenges.

All stainless steel pipework was fabricated in-house, ensuring full quality control from manufacture through to installation, testing, and final handover. Our specialist expertise in pipework engineering was critical to navigating the diverse requirements of differing fluid types, material specifications, and system demands.

The scope of works extended from high-level installations above storage silos, including vent pipework, down to low-level drainage systems serving key plant areas. In addition to pipework installation, MIDSCO delivered a comprehensive package including structural supports, pipe bridges, and ancillary components such as valves, steam traps, and associated plant items, resulting in a fully integrated and efficient system for the client.
