The Start of MIDSCO’s ASHP Journey
This project marked an important milestone in MIDSCO’s journey into the air source heat pump sector.
Working in collaboration with our group companies Greenwood Cooling and MIDSCO Electrical, our engineers delivered a successful air source heat pump installation at a residential property with a large footprint.
The home was retrofitted with wet underfloor heating, providing an ideal low-temperature heating solution to complement the air source heat pump system.
This installation offered our operatives valuable hands-on experience in heat pump design, installation and commissioning, strengthening our in-house expertise as we expand into renewable technologies. All engineers involved are Gas Safe registered and are currently undertaking further training and qualifications in heat pump installation.
This project represents a strong foundation for future ASHP work—watch this space.
